There are currently many translations of the Holy Scriptures, each with a specific characteristic and following a different etymological pattern, from structured translations with current language, to those that have their roots in Hebrew and Greek alongside the key words of the text.

Different translations not only help us clarify some terms and concepts presented in the Scriptures, but they also avoid doctrinal errors due to interpretation X or Y.

This way we can compare different translations and extract the best concept presented, and from this we have in theology what we call Hermeneutics, that is, interpretation of the text; in some cases we can also have etymology, which works on the root of the word and from it we can have the entire conceptualization of what is being presented.

In Portuguese, one of the most widely used translations and also the most widely used in the Portuguese-speaking language was made by João Ferreira de Almeida, and from this we had several ramifications. The Faithful Corrected Bible, among all of them, is the one we can consider one of the best translations for our language, as it follows some standards that deserve to be cited, so that in this way its etymological fidelity and hermeneutical standards can be proven with regard to the texts in Greek and Hebrew.

To make this possible, Almeida Corrigida Fiel uses the oldest texts, the Masoretic text and the translation of the New Testament worked on by Erasmus. In addition, Almeida Corrigida Fiel also sought to bring a more conceptual Portuguese, thus achieving a commendable Lusophone standard, so we have priority both in the texts for translation and in the terms used when translated.
