The word defeat is not always easy to pronounce, because it is intrinsically linked to pain, loss and frustration. I don’t know anyone who has been happy because of a defeat. I have never heard anyone say: “I am happy because my team lost the championship”, or “I am happy because my company went bankrupt”, or even “I am glad that the crisis came to my home and took away the stability of my family”. After all, who would be happy in failure? Who would exult in defeat?

In fact, we wish this word had never existed, much less what it represents. But unfortunately, we cannot do that, especially because any person's life consists of gains and losses, failures and victories. However, in this game of life, it is important to understand that defeats do not make us failures, they do not have that power.

I can say with conviction that those who do not dive into the river of defeat will not be able to swim in the sea of ​​victory; those who have not endured adversity will not be able to live the excellence of a life of achievements.

A true champion knows how to be as great in defeats as in victories. He does not bow his head when faced with mistakes and understands that they are part of the game of life. God invites you to be a champion of your own story, someone who will make a difference, even in times of adversity. Move forward with the Lord, and see where defeats can take you.
